I've seen a few versions of this quote over the past few weeks: Whatever you tolerate, you perpetuate; What you allow will continue, etc. I've passed by a car dealership a few times this week that had a version of this quote on it's sign. Today it finally settled in.
Sometimes we allow situations, behaviors or habits to continue for various reasons. Whether we're too lazy, tired or worn out, if we continue to allow these situations to linger, fester or continue nothing will change and we'll still be wallowing in the same foolishness 6 months, 1 year or more from now.
I knew I had to do something about a certain situation. Today the adventure was stepping up, saying no more and making a decision to make a change...can't get more adventurous than that! This is an adventure that I need to make a daily habit. What do you tolerate? Is it what you want to perpetuate?
